Christmas Morning

TJ had to work Christmas day but that's life being married to a firefighter! On Christmas Eve we opened presents from each other. He got me the most beautiful watch...I like to call it my adult watch and not a Fossil watch! He tricked me buy wrapping it in a big box then I pulled out the copper colored bag from Jared's. I love it! I got him a 227 piece tool set (my dad got him the same thing except it was 118 piece Craftsman set and he kept both!)

My parents arrived around noon on Christmas morning. I was so happy when they got there. We talked for a bit, then we decided to go eat lunch. Everything was closed except a Denny's so we ate there for a lovely Christmas lunch!

TJ got home the next morning and my mom and I started cooking the "real" Christmas lunch. We had a honey baked ham, twice baked potatoes, and green bean casserole. It was very good! I still really don't like to cook but I'm getting better at what I try to cook. I did the twice baked potatoes and they turned out yummy. Later that afternoon we opened presents and just hung around. It so exctiting to think that next Christmas my baby girl will be around 8-9 months old and sitting up. Christmas will be so different and fun.
