29 Weeks

When I started this blog my intention was to be able to go back and read how I felt and see pics of how I looked while I was pregnant and I wanted my baby Reese to be able to read it one day. I don't want to forget anything!

TJ and I went to the doctor this afternoon and I'm 29 weeks today! I'm half way through my 7th month. I really can't believe how fast my pregnancy has flown by. I still look at TJ and say "I can't believe I'm pregnant!" I know that sounds silly but it's true. I'm very exctied to meet my baby Reese and I know after she's here I'll probably say "I can't believe that I have a baby now."
Today at Dr. Held's office we listened to Reese's heartbeat and she measured my belly. Right as I was asking her about Reese's size and mine she said we were going to do a sonogram just to be safe. Dr. Held says that I am meausuring small but everything is ok. While the nurse was doing my sonogram she said Reese looked perfect and that she weighs 3 pounds! I've gained 18 pounds all together!!! Her head is down and she has one leg stretched out. That little leg is the one that gets under my right rib! Her hands are still infront of her face and are crossed like an X. I'm curious to see if she'll do that after she's born.

Dr. Held said that the glucose test I did came back perfect. This is a test I did about two weeks ago. I had to drink this orange drink which was like an orange Sunkist and then they took my blood after an hour. It checks for gestational diabetes. She also told TJ and I to check on cord blood banking. They have one that's not as expensive as the private banks so we're going to check into that. She also wants me to find a pediatrician and I'm going to sign up for a hospital tour.
I can't believe that the time is almost here for me to meet Reese...what I'm feeling right now is unexplainable. I know time is going to fly by! Today was an inservice day at work and the kids will be back tomorrow. I fly home Thursday night and have my first baby shower in Plano on Sat. I'll get to see all my high school girlfriends and I'm really excited about that.

Other things I want to remember:
I crave sweet things! (I never did before) I love cereal....Lucky Charms, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch, and Fruit Loops. Sometimes I just eat a bowl of cereal for dinner. (For example, a few weeks ago TJ grilled a pork tenderloin, I took one bite, then I told him I'd rather have cereal) I'm in love with icecream...but I've always loved it! Other than that I haven't had weird cravings like pickles and peanut butter together. I've had such an easy pregnancy. I honestly can't believe how easy it's been.
TJ is very excited to meet our baby girl. He talks to her all the time and tells everyone that he can't wait. I know he'll be such a great dad. He's going to love her so much...I don't think he's realized it yet. He takes such good care of me, tells me that I look good, hot, sexy, cute, etc. He loves me pregnant which makes me happy. I love him so much. I'm so thankful for him and can't wait to see him be a daddy.

I want to remember what I look like from the front
